China Association of Trade in Service
China Association of Trade in Services (CATIS) ,under the Ministry of Commerce, is a national non-profit social organization with independent legal status registered in the Ministry of Civil Affairs and approved by the State Council of China. Its purpose is to integrate resources and establish a platform for the coordination and promotion of national service trade following the development strategy of China's service industry and trade in services, to assist the government to formulate and improve the legal system of trade in services, to promote Chinese service brands globally and enhance the international influence of China services. Now, CATIS is mainly composed of 24 central enterprises, state-owned enterprises, and nearly 2,400 private enterprises with service innovation strength, among which 230 are members in the education. Now, CATIS has establishedgood relationships with international organizations like United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), WTO and ITO, over 30 government departments and trade associations and Chambers of Commerce of more than 120 countries.
